Yes, very much. I tend to analyse social interactions and try to determine why people act the way they do and why I have annoyed someone or why they cannot understand what I am saying clearly. I often see the world from outside looking in and actually feel sorry for others that cannot visualise the ...

I always order the same. People laugh at me, but I always get what I expected, no surprises are what we all seek I think. I would be quite happy to have set foods every night, rotating through 7 dishes for the week. Just like 'Sheldon', Tuesday is Thai night!

I generally hate large parties. I enjoy being with close friends in a small gathering, but absolutely hate the thought of an upcoming party with lots of people, many of who I will not know and the required loud noise and silly drunk behaviour. My wife loves this sort of thing and I also feel very un...

I think the song "What's up" by 4 non blondes could be interpreted as an Aspie song. Listen carefully to the lyrics.

Yep. I often transform into more of an observer than a participant when I get overwhelmed and stressed by load noise or many people talking at once.

Me too. I keep a list of names in my wallet and check it before entering a social situation where I may meet the people listed. This list even includes people I know very well, but I often need to be reminded before hand of their names.

Post subject: I'm on the wrong planet!

The term 'Wrong Planet' fits me perfectly. Many years ago (before the Internet) I remember looking up at the night sky and telling myself that I am on the wrong planet. Every day I view the world as an observer and not a participant. This is exactly as if I was sent to another planet and had to 'obs...

I think anyone who thinks as much as me could never find religion anything more than an age-old excuse used to control people. It has absolutely no relevance in a scientific age. Quite the opposite, I think it is very harmful as it lets you get away with not thinking.

I think any thoughts regarding common sense should relegate religion to the fantasy world. Religion would have more chance of success I think if people accepted that is really is just some ancient stories from long ago similar to other fairy tales and it would get much more respect.

I am always confused by peoples concept of god. Why can't we just accept that we are here as a result of hydrogen atoms being left alone for a few billion years? There is no meaning to life and why should there be? We are ourselves just a complex collection of particles that will come and go as time...
