I really enjoyed the book Freak, Geeks and Aspergers syndrome. But someone told me that the author Luke Jackson committed suicide. I hope this isn't true. Does anyone know?

That is an absolutely unfair and a very "not nice" thing for her to say. First of all, unless you have another child on the spectrum, it is impossible to recognize the signs of autism/aspergers. Make it VERY casual. Wait until about 30 minutes before lunch and then casually walk by one of them (as if it's by chance) and say "Do you want to grab something for lunch today? I was thinking about going to ......"
