"Transgender community I would find surprising as well ... if the person is seeing a gender specialist I have a hard time imagining them objecting to gender therapies" Well no, not really. The sheer fact we exist tends to put people off their work and make excuses for why they can't treat us for eve... |

Also, you've forgotten you need a script for birth control. You can't order it via mail if you've no script. and not everyone has paypal, either. And let's talk about insurance, you think everyone's paying for it out of pocket? Insurance companies fight tooth and nail to - avoid - paying for things,... |

"Well only one in 600 people even receive electroconvulsive therapy and even those are both anesthetized and usually with consent. In the US specifically in order to perform ECT without consent, it has to be considered life-saving (a catatonic person who's not eating) and even then requires a judici... |

Statistically, 48% of the people here cannot possibly have savant abilities. So... maybe the poll should be "do you have an inflated sense of self?" Maybe you need to inflate yourself a bit. Go on. Have a go :D At any rate, splinter skills are considered a kind of savant ability. What constitutes a... |

I'm curious (from the link between asperger's and genius thread) how many people feel they have savant-like abilities... Not only if they feel they have them, but what they are. Just call me curious.. I've always been rather inquisitive!" I can draw (correctly) whatever I see. My grandparents have ... |

I've the change-to-darker-tint-in-sunlight lenses (misremember what they're called) because of light problems. The lens change didn't fix the problem, but then I also went to a discount eyeglass store and the information the woman who owned the place gave me turned out to be false after I researched... |

I was in a class that I'd previously thought was for speech therapy, since I had a bit of trouble pronunciation wise with j's and z's among other things, but when I went to check my records the secretary said I wasn't listed for that, and that the records were too old to be checked farther. As I don... |
