There is a support group in essex called SAFE. There website is www.aspergers.org.uk
They run social skills groups but not sure the age groups!! ! Hope this helps |

| My son suffered from bad headaches and at 10 had an MRI scan and has been dx with migraines he was on a tablet that he had to take everyday but that increased his aggression and anxiety so now he has a tablet (imigran) that he takes when he has a mirgraine. He is now 11 and suffers consent headaches... |

| Sorry I meant a statement of education needs, this is when the education authority get involved and my son should receive some time with a special needs teacher to help him in social situations and help in organising his time and work at school. I am glad that you have found backup in the vice princ... |

| Thanks earthcalling. I am keeping a diary and tonight have just printed off a bully log, for son to fill in. Sorry if i have messed up the thread. Thats my other issue the school wont support me about a statement, and i am very worried that things will get worse when he starts secondary school. Anyw... |

| Hi everyone, I dont get onto this site as often as i like, so may not be able to respond straight away but i live in UK and work at a drug and alcohol centre as a drug worker.
