I thought it was deriding a boy for wetting the bed, who also happens to cut up animals and sets fires.
A combination of things, in other words (neurological makeup and abusive parents; though abusive parenting needn't always be there, and it's not). |

| Aspergers and autism are not things that are asked about in the recruiting process. They'll ask if you have a mental disorder. I went through it here in Oz. I've seen people in the UK and US turned away due to having a diagnosis of an ASD. Most with an ASD couldn't handle the social blah of militar... |

You won't be able to join, unless you lie on the medical, and that itself is something you don't want to do.
A diagnosed ASD will make you fail the medical. |

| It's pretty rare for someone with AS to go through life without assistance. Most don't work and live at home with their parents or in residential housing, and it stays the same way for most of their lives. |
