We could consider ourselves lucky if they didnt accept us. But my belief is that the military is about defending democracy and human rights in the same way that corporations are about making sure we are provided with the things we need for healthy and satisfying lives. HA! I say.

oh and it is easy (i can say that I guess because i have support from my partner and friends) and I recommend everyone explore ways to be personally sovereign from the dominant culture. Stop worrying about work and think about how to live in ways that satisfy and support you.

Along the same lines as Krex's response; the concept of 'work' as we know it in industrial civilization is a (generally) dehumanizing experience. No wonder that those of us with enhanced sensitivities have such a hard time tolerating the concept. We lack the ability to ignore the reality of the situ...

oh yeah. I can't stand small talk. like the world has so much serious problems and we wate them talking about nothing. I could never stabd that. I am often blunt, but it's not as if i can't lie. I just cant remember my lies, so i dont bother. easier to be honest. i love to procrastinate too.

I hope over the next few weeks and months to do more reading here to try to get an idea about where I fit in alond the neuro-atypical scale. Is a diagnosis important to me?
