Mostly B, at least the 1st part. I don't know that I think they are less PHYSICALY attractive if they aren't nice, just less attractive overall. And I am more attrated to people as I grow closer to them, regardless of their physical attractiveness. |

[quote="gdgt"]This happens to me when I feel overwhelmed by social situations (most of the time, unless it is someone I know very well). If I have to articulate too many thoughts at once, I just completely lose the ability to say anything coherent, and then I find I can't really speak at a... |

Fluttershy- I know I'm likely to produce a rant from this, but I'm writing it anyway. It's not cool to tell people, "sorry in advance, but I'm going to be offensive." How sorry are you if you know you'll do it in the future, but don't a least try to do what it might take to NOT do it in the future (... |

Sounds like a great idea. Will look forward to more details. I love San Diego, Portland, San Fran, or Austin as locations. Hope it doesn't happen while I'm out of the country. Also, if anyone were interested, I've given conferences presentations on several Aspie topics including arranging accommodat... |

I'm a little confused as to the gf situation. Does she not believe in autism? (odd for a psych major) or does she not believe that *you* are autistic? (odd because she knows you and knows about autism)? In any case, maybe your feelings come from being in a relationship with someone who does not beli... |

Hello all, Anyways, as you can imagine I have lots of questions ...Are there AS people who behave this way, crave human touch ? So questions: Is it possible that she does not know she is an Aspie ? Perhaps a highly functioning undiagnosed one? Is is possible she didn't realize she was doing the han... |

You applied because you want the job, right? OK. So how about reminding yourself about all the things you have going for you? What are your strengths? They would not have given you an interview if THEY didn't think you could do the job too. If you don't find all the papers, do the interview anyway. ... |

he wants intimacy I think he needs to rethink his approach to sex. He seems to have a problem in approach - about needing you to have an orgsm, needing you both to get very intimate every time. Tell him that you want to love him by giving him quickie sex just for him, whenever he wants it. Tell him... |

In Kindergarten I hated recess. I didn't know how to play with other kids. The kindergarten teacher at one point helped me join the girls play "house" and I had no idea what to do. I kept waiting for the rules to be explained to me. . People love to say "oh everyone had Aspergers/shyness as a child... |

Hi I was wondering if this is a good place to ask questions about how to cope with or understand my spouse, who I suspect is aspie. It is complicated, but in general I am trying to find the line between what to expect and except, and what areas can be worked on. Best example right now is that she n... |

I am SO sorry for what you went through. I am a psychologist (though not THAT kind of psychologist) and an Aspie. I got diagnosed when I was in graduate school. I was so happy to have an explanation, but instead of making things easier, it actually seemed to make a barrier between me and my partners... |
