@guzzle The current government never agreed to those measures. They are currently looking into partially undoing those changes. Also you loose the right of first 2 years of secondary in a specialised school. Such schools are also struggling financially. |

Here, in Belgium, there are schools just for people with autism, although the government is looking for ways to shut them. |

can, anything happen if you DONT stim? I've had some pretty bad experiences with this, so I guess yes, although I can't speak for everyone. Sometimes my dad forces me to stop stimming, which either makes me feel really stressed and withdrawn. In other cases it has even caused me to shake incontroll... |

That would most likely be their own coping mechanism, since it has such a stigma and would make them feel like failed parents. I wouldn't say it's incurable as that implies there us something wrong with us that has to be fixed. But yes, you can't 'get rid' of Asperger's. |
