You're asking an awful lot of questions, K_Kelly. Perhaps you'd like a visit to a state-sponsored (re)education camp.
PS: This is a joke. |

^ http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/your-looks-and-online-dating/ Apparently, at least in online dating, women rate most guys as being of less-than-average attractiveness. Hard to say what biological or sociological reasons might be behind this. Might be something to do with needing a more discernin... |

Hm, I gotta say, I'll never understand the viewpoint of the players that get into these for the storylines; I cant remember the last time I found a game with a story that I didnt consider to be bad, or just badly presented (or sometimes both).[snip] The problem for me is that I often struggle to st... |

That Pat Condell video reminds me of an event we're having at our very own University of Canterbury. https://www.facebook.com/events/1598739020361579/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular It's basically about giving "No platform to hate speech", in this case, Germaine Greer, an individual known... |

Oh lord, yes those bullet hell type games can be hella intense. One of the biggest challenges I last had in gaming was playing DMC4 on Hell or Hell mode. Twitchy reflexes, that! I think by and large I'm just coming to see games as another form of storytelling media. I think I'm "over" game... |

It's fallacious to make such a statement when there is such a large myriad of thought within the feminist movement. I've met everything from radfem nutjobs to incredibly reasonable liberal feminist types at my very own university. |

I've been there and done that one, though in my case it had nothing to do with too much time gaming, and everything to do with the games themselves changing...[snip] Ah, yes, the Atari 2600. I never got a chance to play much of it as it was already totally overshadowed by the NES by the time I was ... |

I've been a gaming for a looong time. Ever since I was six years old, I've been tearing it up on the gaming scene. As 30 begins to rapidly approach, though, I'm finding myself encountering a problem for the first time in my life: I'm becoming bored of games. Nothing seems to excite me anymore. About... |

@Falloy: Exactly. Another excellent post on the topic. I do honestly feel bad for the myriad of women (and some men) that were unfairly targeted and harassed online, but that's different from recognizing that a number of people ostensibly on the feminist side were expressing some incredibly poor beh... |

Calling someone's ideas wrong is attacking their ideas. Calling them willfully dishonest is an outright accusation against their character. It's a shame you cannot see that, and cannot see why your behavior is not conductive to any kind of debate. Should you ever decide you want to actually engage i... |

Anyway, since you can't have a civil discussion I'm done talking to you. If anyone else would like to discuss the topic I'm happy to engage them, provided they can do so in a reasonable manner. |
