I've decided I'm not cut out to be homeless. At least not here. It hasn't even been a week yet and I can't make it another. I just got out of the gym taking a shower and I'm already just as sweaty as I was before going in. I already look like a tomato like most homeless around here do. I got such a ... |

I have no idea how your aunt would react, and since they are so poor than maybe it is a bad idea, it is hard to predict. How big is the city that you live in? Are there no other cities nearby with more opportunities for you? Could you rent a room from someone? Are there no mental health facilities ... |

I think that you sound very normal, your problem is that you are in a crappy situation and that you have a lot of damage from growing up in an abnormal environment. Shutting of your feelings when it is too much is perfectly normal. What else can someone do in order to keep sane? You wrote before ab... |

I read the first page of this thread & your story.. is interesting. If you haven't read it, read "The complete guide to asperger's syndrome" by Dr. Tony Attwood. You can google for a torrent download. That will tell you pretty conclusively whether you have AS symptoms or not. As for e... |

I was too tired to finish reply earlier which is why I went to a new spot too early and got ran off. Cant go back there now but blame them because if you show favortism then fingers will point and someone will get into trouble. Anyways I specifically went to smaller churches thinking it would be mor... |

Thank you answering; I’m really sorry that things have not gotten better for you yet. I cannot help to think that disappearing from society is a very bad idea, so many things can go wrong, and I don’t think it is something that will work for you. On some level most people, even you have some need f... |

I wonder if some other pastors might be able to give you a lead on an apartment. LOL....I wouldn't become a ex-felon or a drug addict, just so you can get those services! I know 2.5 years is a long time--but, you'd be surprised how fast time flies as you get older. You'll be 27.5 years old by that ... |

Yep...10,000 years ago, humans were TRAINED FROM BIRTH to hunt and gather. As far as I know, you weren't trained that way. You might find it hard to get meat, especially at first....ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER. That guy on TV--what's his name? He is an expert at surviving on the land--and he was perpe... |

It wasn't that long ago that that's all humans ever knew how to do. But that would only be a viable option if I wouldn't be in need of a dentist within a few years |

Thought I would post an update. I'm on my phone. Just started living in my car a few days ago. I found this apartment by luck that my income actually qualified for but had too much hope set on it. I got turned downed because I don't have credit or rental history and they wanted a cosigner. They even... |

And the great thing is: you are still only 25 years old--which is very young. You've experienced lots in life. I wonder how good you'd be if you helped other people by making use of your experience in some kind of therapeutic/social work capacity. I feel like I haven't experienced much though. I've... |

It seems that you are relying a lot on your father’s thoughts and ideas; I think you would benefit from other people ideas and thoughts more. For me reading was also an escape from my problems, that was I was so drawn to fantasy books, for a while I didn't have to live in this one. For me learning ... |

One option would be to look at the church's website. Some will give an email address for someonone you can contact. You could explain your situation to them that way as it may be easier for you to explain things by text. You don't have to explain everything to them about your situation if you don't... |

Verbal/written instructions can actually make me understand less. When I hear/read complicated instruction I get confused and start questioning some words. "Why is it 'on-off' button and not 'power' button now? Are they two different buttons or those are two names for the same button?". S... |

People think I'm weird because the first thing I want to do upon buying or receiving a new item is read the manual. Most people I deal with just figure it out by using or "playing" with the product. I find by reading the manual often I learn important functionality because it answered a q... |
