Be careful with mainstreaming in a regular classrooms. My Asperger 10 year old just had a really bad 5th grade. We had a terrible and expensive assessment done by an "expert". She had her intern perform one test, spent 5 minutes with our son, asked us questions which were not thorough (she focused more on my childhood history) and after 2.5 hours (an hour of which was for lunch) she un-diagnosed him...
