I've already seen a general neuropsychologist for an ADD assessment...

Is this something that is common with Asperger's since I never mentioned it during the neuro assessment?

Is there anything you need at work you think an assessment would help with that you can't get now? I have an easy way of dealing with office noise--I just shut the door to my office. :D It really is just my self assurance and wanting that 100% confirmation Yeah I wish I could but I live in cubicle ...

Some background on the work environment first. I work upstairs in a manufacturing building with about 6 other cubicles. The noise from the floor i...

I love to bend caps in half like the bud light ones or tops of water bottles. With water bottles after bending it in half I like to grind the cap on the nozzle of the bottle. It feels good on my fingers and also the noise is very stimulating. I often do the water cap stim in cafeteria type settings ...

Anyone else experience similar issues?

I knew it had to be a popular thing. I just wonder how much it possibly bothers an NT as well

This one for me is a major sensory challenge. As soon as I hear that drill wine at high speeds it sends an electric shock-like sensation through my body. I actually wince during these moments.

Is this an aspie thing?

I've thought about this topic all night and how not to offend anyone. One of my big special interests/obsessions is to become highly educated. I can't pass as an NT and I'm not sure I'm smart enough to tackle college/university and find work. Would you say you were able to find and keep work or bec...

Do other people sit with one foot on top of the other? I read somewhere that it was common for aspies to sit with one foot 90 degrees from the floor with the other foot horizontal on top. I do this all the time, especially when I'm bored :o Yes and also I curl my toes underneath my foot when seated...
