Looking at your replies it seems that some people are very angry at what I wrote. I felt like I needed to explain why I wrote it. I came to this site expecting to see people discussing the problems they face and ways that they deal with it. There is a fair amount of this. But instead, I found a lot ... |

I think the thread starter has a point in that there is probably a very small minority here who aren't Aspergian and only post here because they feel socially isolated and want to be part of a minority group etc. etc. but my contention is that why should this be a problem? I've been here for less than a week and looking around the forum it seems like many people are self diagnosed. They hear about aspergers and think they have it because they are kind of shy and have a hobby they are obsessed with. They take the online test and tell themselves that all their inabiliti... |

Yea I definitely see how I could get addicted with the whole "Once an idea gets into my head its not coming out" complex." I would really like to ask another aspie who smokes weed if this makes sense and if it feels the same for you: During the day, in school, when I daydream I can concentrate on my... |

I don't eat pink or purple food. I won't drink pink or purple juice or soda. I won't drink anything out of a pink or purple package. I won't eat anything that has been touched by someone else. The idea of mixing things, like when people mix ice cream, fruit punch, and soda, or just mixing different ... |

You sound like you're being very hard on yourself. Have you thought about the strengths you have? You are honest, and sound like you're good with computers. You'll find plenty of friends your own age on this website. You could visit the adolescent forums. You talk about your problems with social sk... |

My parents had been taking me to doctors and shrinks my whole life. I never thought there was a problem. It felt like they were trying to tell me I inadequate. When I was 13 my parents got books from a doctor and told me I had "ass burgers." (I thought that was hilarious) When I would do something w... |
