They do them for autism too michael517 :) I first saw them at a Autism show but when I saw the price I was kind of put off! No wonder the pilot reacted like that...sounds extreme ha! Hey, I would like to get some ear defenders but not sure which ones to get there seems to be loads of different ones on ebay. Any advice would be appreciated? which ones are the best to get? |

Thank you for your reply. That's a good idea I will try the ear plugs. Sadly I have never been able to eat with my family due to this problem..it's to unbearable. Have you ever tried anything to overcome it? I have heard there are tapes you can buy which help you get used to the noise I was looking ... |

Hello, I have great difficulty with noise sensitivity especially when someone is eating and making noise with a plate and folk the sound sounds very painful to me and is unbearable. Just wondering how people felt after being told you have Aspergers? I guess because I have only just found out about Aspergers I also thought that one day I would just get over everything and just be normal but now being told I have aspergers knowing that this is my life. Thank you so much for all your replies. They have been really helpful! :) I think because I have only just found out about Aspergers I have no idea how people would react. I think it is best I don't tell them and keep it on a need to know basis. How did your boss react? Luckily my boss reacted okay ... |

Thank you for your replies. I have already read a book by Liane Willey Called Safety Skills for Asperger Women which was pretty good so I check out her other book too. I have seen a few reviews of The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome' and it looks a great book |
