Thank you for your reply. That's a good idea I will try the ear plugs. Sadly I have never been able to eat with my family due to this problem..it's to unbearable. Have you ever tried anything to overcome it? I have heard there are tapes you can buy which help you get used to the noise I was looking ...

Thank you for your replies. I have already read a book by Liane Willey Called Safety Skills for Asperger Women which was pretty good so I check out her other book too. I have seen a few reviews of The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome' and it looks a great book :)

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone could recommend any good books on aspergers in adults especially in girls please. I have only quite recently found out that I may have aspergers and have my final assignment next month. So would love to find out more about it and coping with it. Thank you.
