I have watched nine episodes of the television series Brain Games and have noticed that my results are consistently the opposite of what the show claims is that of most people. Is the autistic brain truly so different from that of the neurotypical?

Monster Rehab Protean+ Energy, which they discontinued a year ago. But while camping this past weekend, I found a small town gas station that had thirteen of them and I bought them all. :-D

By the way, I drink it for the caffeine and the taste, not the protein.

I think people who rip their nails must have done it from an early age to have kept them pliable enough. Even if my wife let me, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to successfully rip hers. After thirty-six odd years of practice, I've gotten pretty good at ripping all my nails without getting too cl...

Yes! One other vote (one is mine) is all I needed for validation.

For as long as I can remember, I have trimmed my fingernails by ripping them off and them using them as makeshift dental floss. I do the same to my toenails, although I pass on the flossing there.

It is by far the best explanation of autism I have ever read about. It also explains why, despite my being an emotional robot, my eyes leak uncontrollably during Disney movies I watch with my daughter.

Only all the time. I'm not even looking for a "soul mate" either, just someone who is well enough matched to me that we could be partnered. This is how you find your "soul mate". For a lot of people, a soul mate is an ideal that is very unlikely to be attained, even if you have ...

Huh. Turns out it was Sprite. I apologize for any inconvenience my previous misinformation might possibly have caused.

Jäger and 7 Up. Yes, it's 2:30 p.m. where I am but, dammit, I deserve a buzz right now.

Thank you, nick007. I'll keep what you said about the lorazepam in mind. I also have clonazepam, which I have found to be most useful for insomnia. A psychologist I went to recently recommended that I try gabapentin, but I couldn't find any evidence that it is effective for migraines, and my GP agre...

I've been struggling with migraines for a few years now, but in the last year and a bit, they have been chronic. As in, a constant migraine all the time. The biggest help has been in the prophylaxis department: the beta blocker bisoprolol along with thirty-nine injections of botulinum toxin into my ...

I started taking valproate for migraine prophylaxis. The good news is that it appears to be working much better than the last two I've tried. The bad news is: 1) I'm experiencing the odd dizziness, which causes me to occasionally stumble. This isn't so bad. I long ago stopped caring what others thou...

I went to the medical supplies store this morning, looking for a bifurcated metal pill box that didn't have a flowery design on it to store convenient doses of the tramadol and metoclopramide that I take pro re nata for chronic migraines. They had nothing of the sort but suggested I try Walmart. I w...

I just have this obsessive mind that overthinks and doubts things a lot, I don't feel I have a strong intuition about how I feel or who/how I am. Yes, that's the same kind of mind that I have. The challenge is always to let it go and move forward. Just because autistic people are considered to be s...

I don't find the side-effects too bad, can cause some drowsiness but only sometimes. I think the 'addictive' nature of this class of drug is a bit over hyped really. Yes, I find the same thing regarding side effects. I always assume when it causes drowsiness that I didn't really need it as much as ...
