Shamata aims at just watching afflictive emotions as just that, emotions. When I learned to fully watch an emotion with no aversion to it, with a simple view of its n...

I would create a timeline for your anxieties. For example 10-10:30 worry abiut teeth. The goal is to begin binding these anxieties one at a time until their allotted time decreases over time. Take small steps for example if you can only decrease the amount of time you worry on each listed item by a ...

From what I can see, I would say this is a meltdown. Tantrums are done in front of peoe or a person with the intent to get something or get out of something. Meltdowns can happen in private or in public, and are due to being overwhelmed.

Empathy is an interesting thnig when it comes to autistics. We tend not to understand the why, but we feel exess amounts of the what. For example if someone dies it will not effect us in the same way that NTs are. What I mean by this is that we will feel others pain to the point of being overwheleme...

When my cousin died I sat in a corner and red the Lord of the rings. Not because I was sad, but because I hated groups even if that group was my family. Don't be afraid to take time to be alone. I was in the same room as them, but it was a big room so I could be by myself. This allowed me not to get...
