It is likely due to my inability to sell myself. |

Please don't take offense. I don't know you. All I know about your situation is what I read in your post. With this being said, it's been my experience that people who go around tooting their own horn sometimes create a lot of resentment. Are there other ways you could get credit for your contribut... |

Most Valuable Player (MVP). I am going to a promotion ceremony tomorrow, and they may mention my contributions then. It is also a good idea to ask if they can add my contributions into the formula for next year. Well for 3-4 years the call forwarding from my team's client's numbers were turned off a... |

My ego is quite bruised. I increased the productive hours of the workday for 80-ish agents by 37.5%+ of the day (3/8 hours in the day, sometimes more) or 160%+ (8 productive hours when we had 5 before, sometimes adding more than 3-productive-hours to the day). This implementation was made before the... |

Grades at the university level are often not (only) based on performance.
One needs to show respect by being there, participating, being helpful, and via making the teacher feel like his or her works matters. |

Get advice from wise and trusted people that you know. Go see a therapist to help you work your way though these social puzzles. It may help to get advice from a professional, better understand what is going on via having another opinion, reframe some thoughts, and get advice on how to best approach... |

You also need to keep trying to get a job. One often cannot succeed without failing a lot. Own the failures, and keep plugging away. It was my wife's idea to apply for the job that I am in now, and I am enjoying it (the company is young, is doubling in size from 500 to 1,000 this year, has growing p... |

I think that school is mainly about being able to learn stuff, and work towards a goal (a degree). The stuff you learn is often not really at all important. At the same time ideas that seem to be unrelated are often quite useful. ------- For high school I just showed up, and collected a degree. I wa... |

I once had a high paying temp job doing tech support. I brought my own three-hole punch, and I think I get fired for someone seeing me put it into my bag (thinking that I was stealing). |

Try to apply for a call-center job. I tend to get hired in groups, and do well on the phone. I am an insurance agent now (in a call center), and was rated #4 this year, and #1 or #2 last year out of 80-ish agents in my group. |

It is my understanding that the basic requirement for enlisting is an IQ of 83+. The military needs people and to turn away warm bodies seems like a bad idea. I would imagine that the US military does not turn folks away that are on the spectrum. If they can do the job, and pass the tests, then I wo... |

If your kids are young enough to need help getting ready for bed, why are you guys putting them to bed so late? Have you had this conversation with your wife at a time when you can discuss the process of putting kids to bed. Not whist it's happening, but during a quiet time. My 10-year-old is in a ... |

I am trying to do a better job helping my wife with what she needs help with (I should know how to do this stuff), but I am having difficulty getting her to use specific words and phrases that would trigger my understanding when I am mentally spent. I would likely get a bunch of the stuff wrong if I... |

I was diagnosed in my 30's and it was pure cathartic bliss. Having said that I have a disability, and it can sometimes make things hard. To have an average brain and the same IQ would likely mean superior career and financial success. If I were to have the opportunity to have an average brain and av... |

I remember being in high school (age 16-ish), and trick-or-treating with my friends. I was shocked when someone told me that I was too old. Also costumes plus your romantic partner? Or costumes plus a party? This is a no loose situation. If someone has a costume, rings my door, says the magic words,... |
