I don't blame you for wanting a cure. But the real "cure" is being able to adjust to your surroundings, despite your AS. I am not anti-NT at all. I like some NTs, can't stand others. I like some with AS, can't stand others. You will be able to do it. Just take advice from well-meaning peo...

fellow aspies, if you had a choice, would you take Aspergers off the autism spectrum and declare it as it's own disability or would you prefer to be known as autistic instead? this idea's been in my head for a while now, so give it a strong think. I know AS is on the spectrum but still. me personal...

And personally as well, i think we have two distinct categories of people here and I'm actually beginning to wonder if it's a cultural thing. We have the people with Aspergers who believe they have a disability and then we have the people with Aspergers who don't believe they are disabled. I fall i...

when It comes down to it i'd rather be known as an aspie only, even if it does sound really stupid in my accent. the word autism has too much of a stigma to me tbh do you carry a laminated official diagnosis on a chain? How you introduce yourself is entirely up to you? this isn't about me, it's mor...

i wish the man who discovered AS at least had the decency to come up with a less embarrassing name.
Aspergers sounds really f*****g stupid like assburgers stupid. he should've named it Han's Syndrome or hell at least f*****g Han Solo Syndrome would've been a better name.

nah i don't enjoy or parade it around but i'd rather take Aspergers over other disabilities like CP Downs or low functioning autism even if it does get on my nerves and depresses me sometimes..

who knows maybe some of them have a hidden desire to slap some sense into me.
