I too have a depressive period after that period I described as mania, the whole episode lasts about two weeks. Is stress a trigger for you?

Hi When I get really stressed I usually have a meltdown, but afterwards I have a period of Mania. I have brilliant ideas (or at least I think they are at the time). I can't stop talking and quite often people don't understand what I am talking about (I miss out information and I think everyone knows...

That was going to be next trial, breaking days up into 3 parts. I hate not being productive. I do the same, lump jobs together.

It's ok to be by yourself and be introverted, not having friends doesn't mean there is something wrong with you!!

Slave,
I am not unaware I read journals and use forums where I can learn of people's real experiences. I just don't watch the news and rarely read news papers because of the right-wing bias

I know it's an old thread but routine is something I struggle with. I don't have one at home, because it drives me insane if I decide I am going to do something on a particular day and then something happens to screw it up like making an appointment or running an errand. I will usually only do one t...

But I don't watch it generally because the bias is usually right wing and I can't cope with the demonising of certain groups, lying politicians, celebrities and worst of all the suff...

Hi I recently had an assessment and I was told that whilst I had social difficulties, I wasn't on the spectrum. They used ADOS. I'm a 44 year old female and from the research I have done DISCO is more appropriate for Asperger Syndrome in adults. I didn't want to go to the centre they referred me too...

I usually don't feel lonely, I have an understanding family, but I don't have close friends and being in certain social situations make me feel exceptionally alone because I don't belong and I'm different
