I tried writing a blog. It is a work of perhaps 0.5% writing and 99.5% advertisement, which saps the soul right out of me, not least because I’m not terribly good at it, because I myself am totally immune to advertising, because I have a hair-trigger BS meter. It also involves dumbing the writing d... |

I am not particularly financially stable, so for me that would not be a real deal-breaker, I mean how can I hold guys I'd date to a higher standard than what I live up to? And hell even if I was doing better for myself...not so sure even then it would be a deal breaker as I am not into traditional ... |

This woman's a mol bio PhD and THIS is how she thinks the epigenome works? Exactly. It's a parody of a scenario where a really intelligent woman actually did prefer a guy way below her intellectually. It doesn't work that way. That's my point. Anecdotally, I think insecurity tends to result in real... |

I'd add that if you break up, STAY BROKEN UP. If you're meant to be, you'll weather the rough patch without actually breaking up. Had I actually had the discipline to abide by this rule when I was younger, I'd've saved myself a year of on-off stress x 2 (college boyfriend, grad school boyfriend). |

there's a vast difference between refusing to date any guy who isn't wealthy versus refusing to date any guy who isn't financially stable. The latter has more to do with whether a man is responsible/disciplined enough to live within his means. I don't necessarily think guys get more judgement than ... |

If creative writing's your "thing", you've got options for jobs that involve ZIP in the way of formal credentials: 1. Write a blog and sell ad space on it. If you're as good a writer as you say, your blog can be your full-time job. 2. Write a book, get a literary agent and sell it. *poof* ... |

It's quite true, from what I've also read in a national news column on Aspergers and the workplace, there was a firsthand (but anonymous) account from an employee with Aspergers who said there is an unspoken rule that you don't discuss the way you're treated (i.e. management imposing limits on your... |

As an aspie male, no, I do not initiate dates. I also don't go on any dates. I'm never in a position to meet or be around women. It seems I'd have to find that seemingly mythical place referred to only as "out there" in order to meet anyone. I'm guessing you not want to date at this time.... |

I'm pretty sure a smart woman still prefers a partner who can beat the s**t out of a stranger coming to make trouble, to one who would instead get his ass handed to him. Beatings speak louder than words. Nope, zero interest any guy who would resort to violence if some "stranger approached to m... |

^ I was only kidding BTW. I would seriously be pissed though, who wouldn't. And I've seen women act more psycho then that over way less then cheating on her with her best friend....yikes most women would probably murder both of them. PERSPECTIVE. That's the word I was looking for. The only way to g... |

Why ? What happens in this 5 years also most 15-18 year olds have had sex and relationships so not sure why you think being a 20 year old dateless virgin is normal. Because having no experience with and/or totally inept at dating is inevitable, 100% expected and thus "no biggie" at 15 (cu... |

then why can't a guy who makes less move in with her and share expenses? they can't but women wont let them because they say the guy would be mooching off them. i only turned what women say around back at them. That is what you think, and it doesn't mean that is true. Most people are ok with a resp... |

My life is currently in a state of transition, and will remain so for the next 2-3 years. My job requires me to move across the country later this year, and then move back to where I am now after 2-3 years in the new location. This has me really concerned about my future from a romantic perspective... |

I wonder why girls don't feel they have it easy since they don't have to be the initiator Girls sometimes initiate. Guys, like you, have the option of not initiating. You don't have to initiate anything if you don't want to. Or, you know, considering the role your personality, attitude and personal... |
