IMO it's more important that you are someone that you like, rather than someone who avoids stepping on any toes at the price that you don't get to be the real you. Look how much power these people have over you. They tell you they don't like something about you and you become ashamed of yourself. A...

* I think announcing the "I'm ignoring you" thing is about trying to get a reaction (control). It's manipulative, because it doesn't involve direct communication, yet the user of this tactic usually has a certain goal in mind. Consciously or subconsciously. Manipulative doesn't necessarily...

Boo why is it that you aren't clear about not wanting any more contact with this woman? I'm not even asking this for me, but so you think about it for your own sake, because apparently there is something within you that prevents you from acting in a self-loving manner. She has betrayed you, lied to ...

Of course not. I too sometimes wonder how some long-gone members are doing. Nothing wrong with that.

Yesterday, my best friend was over at my place and we talked some, then he said something quite profound IMO. He said, sometimes people part ways and one or both act in a clingy way, trying to hold on to the other. He thinks if we drift apart for one reason or another, if that reason has something t...

German? Yeah. Germany is Hariboland, so there is a big selection of different Haribo sweets in many places. Today is the first time I've seen this one, I thought you might like it. Got myself the pack as well, they taste like regular cola bottles, but the designs are cuter. I'd like a bag of freeky...

Basically he thought because he had all the knowledge of dating and used it when chatting this girl up it meant he felt entitled for her too like him. What do you make of this situation? Apparently his premise wasn't true, lol. :jester: But honestly, knowledge alone doesn't mean a lot, because even...

This topic got me a little choked up, I can relate. Nothing is wrong with you. How you are acting is a very common coping mechanism to being abused as a child. Not only direct abuse, but also a lack of positive caring. Emotional neglect. I want to encourage you, if you can at all get access to it, t...

Well, like many other posters here, there was a time (class 7 or 8 ) when my school performance peaked and I got a lot of passive-aggressive hate for it, and I enjoyed every second of it. It was a much better role than being the socially invisible problem-kid. :) Although, it was triggering rejectio...

Ugh, this is such a difficult topic. Of course, if it gives you a safe feeling, you can go to a doctor. But I want to tell you something important: Sometimes there are temporary reasons why it doesn't work, but when you make a huge deal out of it and think about it every time you are about to have s...

Oh, yes I remember and can see it from your sentence structure now. :)
Well, I've returned since end of last year, just didn't get into this part of the forum because I tend to get ADDICTED fast. 8O

The only thing worse than getting addicted is not winning, which, luckily, I just did!
