I wonder if a local chemist would perhaps be an option? It's a shop for sure, but it does have a mix of some of his interests. Other options might be checking companies in a local industrial estate to see if they have a lab that will consider a student for a couple weeks. |

I say work on your stuff during the week and like the above post said, if you need more clarification, ask your dad when he's free. You don't need his permission to do certain things, as you're certainly an adult at this stage. |

I learned to drive a bit slower than average, but it was really test anxiety that prevented me from obtaining my licence for a number of years. I'd have a GREAT warm up lesson and then completely blow the road test because of nerves. Finally mastered that demon last year! |

He may be at a stage of his life where he wants to "forget" he has a disorder and wants to be pretend he's normal. Some people accomplish this by refusing to associate with people they connect with their "illness" or "challenge." The way he is acting is definitely not acceptable, however, if you fee... |

Home Improvement for the SNES back in the day was very difficult to beat.
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood has to be the hardest first person shooter I've played. |

I don't consider myself addicted. I've played several hours the past few days, but that's because my computer is finally able to play games (I had a faulty graphics card). |

On the contrary, my co-workers in England were very nice and friendly. My boss was also 100% okay with my social anxiety! I think the best way to describe the English (to me) in general was they're more reserved than people in North America (Canada and the USA). You don't make as a big a show of you... |

Well, I suppose you could always say you spent the year travelling or learning skills in certain areas. Another thing is maybe you had a job that really isn't something for a resume, like babysitting or something like that. |

I'd request for another person who can "help" you out and address your needs properly. Something to think about might be volunteering at a local animal shelter. |

You might have grounds to fight your termination if you worked there for nine years. Don't you have to be written up three times? |

Pick a handle, don't list any contact methods that can be traced to you, and use very vague details in your blog (for example instead of saying you work for a large newspaper in Seattle you'd say you work for a newspaper in a mid-sized U.S. city). |

I collected the usual kid things like china dolls, hockey/baseball/basketball cards, and rocks.
My ongoing collection is a stamp collection I inherited. I'm in the process of organizing it. I estimate the whole collection has a value of $1500. |

I suppose it depends on how much personal relief it would bring him and whether the diagnosis could be used for any job accomodations. Personally, while my doctor and myself suspect I may have Aspgerger's, we both agree there isn't much point in pursuing a formal diagnosis. I already am diagnosed wi... |

I have confirmed allgergies to cats (mild), alder, oak, and birch pollen, freshly cut grass, black mold, and cozmo flowers. I have a presumed allergy to sulpha drugs after a reaction with a sulfa antibiotic. Several days into the course I broke out in hives and went to A&E. After the tests they ... |
