Dogs are good pets. Just watch out for their horrible poo. Yuck. I can't stand horrible smelling poo, though at least the cat poos either in the litter box or nearby it. Why don't dogs do that? Dogs can do that if they're trained to do so, same as tringing them to go outside, know where their beds ... |

I prefer most animals over cats, they just irritate me for some reason. I've had a fair amount of animals over the years from dogs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, gerbills, frogs, pigeons and other small birds. I've never had a cat nor want one. |

I mean to say I have no idea how to take this, as a joke or being serious. |

I was at an ex friends home one day, my friends dad (a cop) comes in and stares at me so as to not "lose face" I have to stare back at him and he turns round and says I'm the most evil b*****d he has ever seen.
No idea why. |

I was bullied from the age of 5 to 18. I've been burnt and even locked in a cage at one point  I have taken part to some extent (though not the extent of which I was bullied) in bullying (verbal) which I can't undo and regret. So I can't complain about the bullying I went through. To me bullyin... |

Doctors tend to look down on people who read up too much on something and run in assuming they have it. At the same time though, why should you care what some doctor thinks who doesn't mean anything to you? In addition, aspies aren't as susceptible to embarresment given their lack of understanding ... |

I end up hiding somewhere in the house, unless there are people in the house with me then I have no choice but to answer the door or phone. Do you have any kids? I'm only asking, because my siblings and I were mildly traumatized by our (Schizo/Aspie/Hypochondriac/you-name-it) mother's reaction to t... |

well we are all not like you Valhalla :P just because you have irrational fears, please don't try to pass them onto others. Wait, how did I try to pass my 'irrational' fears onto? I stated that I didn't like going to the doctors and that the person wasn't wrong in coming to an AS forum to gat... |

Ok, whatever. Some advice: read your post over before submitting it. You can come across as a bit of an a** and AS or no AS, No insults were given anywhere, nor any downtalking. Explain your logic. Questioning someone when they seek help, when they haven't done anything wrong comes across as ignora... |

Well, he came to people that have AS, know the symptons and the traits. I can see no harm in someone asking people that live through similiar experiences to get opinions before going to a doctor which could end up embarrassing the hell out of him. |
