It doesn't look legitimate to me. I think AspieAffection could use a major upgrade. The software hasn't been updated in years and the site is frustratingly buggy. There's another site called Autisticdating.net, but it gets so little traffic, it's not worth putting up a profile. It too uses the same...

Sounds like it might be a good read. 8)

I only connect intensely. Far more intensely than NTs. I will normally be quite apathetic but occasionally connect intensely (maybe too intensely and too quickly) when I "click" with someone. In general I can come across as pretty nt but can be very "dyslexic" on the rules of friendship and especia...

I honestly don't understand how you could be an extrovert and end up more depressed. It seems as if introverts are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression. :? For me anyway, when I´m being extroverted I am definitely out of my "comfort zone" - can fly along for some time then crash when s...

Sorry you're going Snake - I'm only here a little while but I'll be here a lot longer given half a chance. I have no idea how the idea of banning NTs would ever be implemented, even if it was a good idea. Are you suggesting that peeps shouldn't get an account until they provide a doctor's note or so...

Good thread! It's great to see Mitch say "How can you be so sure that AS has (solely) granted you all these positive attributes and skills?" Amen to that - let's at least try and imagine ourselves as not defined by AS tendencies - can you imagine yourself as you, with all your strengtrhs, but also w...

What an idiot! I hope you kicked him in the nuts. Why is it that often the people we rely on for help are the ones who are least fit to provide that help?

I have one on my ankle that I got in Asia - not that big but won't go away. The mozzies loved me while I was there. Was standing in queue at the chemist in Thailand - started counting - 34 bites on my left leg. I'm partial to a daily Flake - cutting that out and taking a Vitamin B suppliment seemed ...

I have been taking an antihistamine every day for about 5 years. If I miss it for a day, i'll be itching like crazy - rashes can happen anywhere. I have gotten various tests at the doc for allergies but they all drew a blank. The AH have no side effects and it has been easier just to keep taking one...

"My house is made out of balsa wood, so when I want to scare the neighborhood kids I lift it over my head and tell them to get out of my yard or I'll throw it at them." Bwahahaha.
