Here's something I'm curious to know...what's the highest score anyone has ever gotten on Simon Baron-Cohen's AQ Test?
http://aspergerstest.net/aq-test/
They say no one will share all the symptoms, but...has there ever been a perfect 50?
Has anyone scored 49? |

You guys seem to be jumping to insist that Lazyflower must really be "it". Yes, a person can learn to manage symptoms, but Lazyflower seems to be saying she never had those symptoms to begin with. No special interests, no problems with eye contact, no stimming. Of course, this depends on h... |

But there are diagnosed members saying they like loud music or loud trains or concerts. Did you just undiagnose them too? Well, normally their AQ's are high, and they only have a few things that don't seem to fit the Asperger's profile. But with Savegraudation, it's combined with: 3. He said he sco... |

Well that OP has already been diagnosed so it's impossible to armchair diagnose. We can only armchair undiagnose. I'll start armchair undiagnosing! 1. He doesn't have a special interest, something that applies to only 10% of Aspies. 2. He loves loud noises. It's very hard to find an Aspie who likes... |

Nobody's saying "Yes, you're definitely autistic". In this thread (https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=296940&start=15 ), one poster says, "Oh, you are definitely ASD of some sort". (I have posts in that thread too, and the OP did not come off as autistic/Aspie to... |

What is a "corner-case Aspie"? A corner-case Aspie is someone who is on the dar end of what is diagnosable as Asperger's. To explain, consider the thread https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=298539 , in which the OP asks: "What thing ("symptom" / "quirk"... |

I don't have a special interest. Forgive me if I'm mixing you up with someone else...but weren't you the girl who was so excited to see a bus outside (because buses are one of your special interests) that you rushed to see it and forgot to pick up the forms you had filled out when you were applying... |

Welcome, Mallysa. I'm Andrew (or WoW_Wow on this forum). I won't be much help in finding an African-American female Aspie...I'm a heterosexual twentysomething white boy who's a nerd and an atheist. I know, I sound so typical for an Aspie. But I've met other black female Aspies posting their introduc... |
