Actually Ive done very well and kept my career going for 10+ yrs .I have been fired a few times for problems related to social interactions , usually an over zealous boss trying to get me to do things his way and to his timetable.Rigid bosses who lack empathy and are control freaks are to be avoided...

well maybe if you are good with PCs, you could do a course on basic PC repair and setup and work for a company ( or start your own) that does this.I hired such a guy to fix mine when i couldnt get the printer to work.He picked it up and brought it back 3 days later
