Growing up in a family of 4 boys I got treated like a dog. Mum and Dad knew nothing about Aspergers back then in the '60s. I am now 62 and have always had a dislike for being around people and the only reason I can think of is that I will be treated just as I was as a kid. Aspergers is so misunderst...

I really don't feel the love from my family. They simply are not able to express love. So I Keep in mind the people who truly love me, they are; Mum, Aunty Clare, Grandma Cassidy and Jesus. These people have left their bodies but their deep love for me remains for all Eternity. So if you are feeling...

What a true and wonderful quote. God is in all and through all. So it would make sense that where ever we go God is there; because we are God manifest as body.

I hate it when people say that I should make friends in Special Olympics or Mental Health because I don't completely fit in either group. Do any of you feel like you don't fit in groups? I can relate to what you have said catpiecakebutter. Most people have this mind-set that if you just get involve...

I have come to the realisation that most people will never understand me because I am Aspie.
I think it would be so wonderful to be understood even in small ways, I am sure it may help me to enjoy life more. All I want to do these days is take my last breath so the pain of being an Aspie can go away.

The truth is: that is the reality of the 99% of the population of this beautiful Earth. People have so ...

I will start a conversation about (lets say for example) an experience I had that I found to be interesting and before I get one sentence into what I am going to say; someone will pipe up and say ‘O yes tell me about it, I also had an experience …. bla bla bla.’ ...
