Perhaps it is the irritating glitches in part as well. I nearly stopped coming back a few times due to the glitches…but I beat them, lol. I just posted how I beat them in that captcha thread, and I’ll share here also in case someone sees this thread but doesn’t visit the captcha thread….anything to ...

It’s not the captchas that bother me. It’s the glitch in the captcha process, whereas even when you answer the captcha correctly, it still will delete the post you just typed up, and send u back to the quote to which you were trying to respond. Then you have to retype it all over again. Ugh. So I ha...

no problem! 8) i think that at this point most veteran members have found ways to fit all their "crafts and hobbies" discussion into the existing forums, with all the relevant longstanding threads and stickies there. it would be a different situation than if the site started with both, as...

^ Interests evolve. It's my opinion that this forum should evolve too. Alex has been talking about creating more positivity on WP. What could be more positive than a space for members to talk about their passions - whatever they may be - without having to adhere to a category. I know we have Random...

yeah, but it was the art music lit was just an example. it still doesn't work for arts/crafts/hobbies. they are just not exactly the same. like a square is geometrical but geometry isn't about squares. art/music/lit fits as arts/crafts/hobbies but not vice-versa lol. I would never post about knitti...

What should be is far from our current reality. We have limited choices between the hairless ground ape and the hairless ground ape. Trump has put out a program to the left of the left, and to the right of the right. Republicans who want to out tax cut him will have to abolish taxes. Leftist social...

i haven't thought of the arts/music/writing forum as "college educated"...i don't think that was the intent. if a general hobby thread doesn't fir there then random discussion will be just fine. :) Maybe that's a case of aspie bias: we miss the critical rôle of status and hierarchy pervad...

Neoconservatism makes us less safe, less free, and less prosperous. It is an extreme ideology that is rooted in the ideas of Woodrow Wilson and Leon Trotsky. Permanent revolution, forever war, seeding democracy, these people are not tough they are traitors. Neoconservatism feeds on the problems it ...

::giggle:: Aspies talking softly? Absurd I tell you! lol. All kidding aside, I thought most aspies were/are more direct than soft spoken (not to invoke the contrary idea of yelling). But I can get on board with the big stick :D

To be honest, I am very critical of a lot of people on this site because many of the more bigoted folk on here are also those who are self-diagnosed. I understand both "people-watching" and caution. But I also think self-diagnosis plays little part in bigotry. This is a very broad example...

how would you change the forum so you would post about knitting, etc, there? Thank you so much for asking. Little moves sometimes make a big difference and are much appreciated. I would say a simply name change to "games and hobbies" that would invite a larger variety of pasttimes. But th...
