How do I accept that I'm never going to be able to compete with everyone else? How do I accept that I'll always be a freak, and nobody will truly understand who I am? How do i expect to live successfully in a social world as an asocial person. I feel like the world's one bit ant colony and I'm the s... |

For me it depends on the person, but I can usually fake it by looking at the nose. Sometimes cheekbones if they're defined enough. It sort of also depend on the intensity of their stare. For example my boss has a [i]very[i] direct, sort of intimidating gaze although he doesn't mean to, and as a resu... |

I'm in the same situation. I draw and paint and am at heart an artist. I think my work sucks, frankly but my family and friends all go nuts saying my work is amazing etc. Etc. When I actually put it online in a place like DeviantArt or some such no one even bothers to look, so maybe I'm just not goo... |

I can relate with the socially anxious thing. I can't stand being close to people unless they're immediate family and then only about two of them at that.

I have a lot of depression, anger, self harm, and social anxiety issues and shes tried like crazy to help me out but im just too stubborn and too screwed up so shes just kind of accepted... |

I still find myself humming music from Castlevania Aria of Sorrow sometimes. That game was fantastic.
Also the Mother 3 fan translation. That was a beautiful game and I wish Nintendo would export it. |

My wife is NT, daughter not sure yet. She's 4 and on one hand seems to make eye contact with us and doesn't show many of the classic early symptoms but on the other has this very direct, sassy side to her that seems a bit ahead of her age, tends to sing to herself a lot, and generally tends to be a ... |

So I just joined, wanted to say hi. I'm a twenty-something dad with what I'm 99% sure is undiagnosed Aspergers. I'm going to see a doctor in the next few months and get a proper diagnosis. I work two jobs, and draw, paint, and play video games in the free time I get. Most of the rest my time is spen... |
