Cleared up my mind a bit. What I wanted to say is that imitating human voices is not different from making animal impressions, but I mixed it up with echolalia because I learned to make some animal impressions (such as dog barks) after doing them involuntarily (I had to teach myself not to do it, th...

Perhaps our definition of "friend" is different and that's perfectly fine :)

Surely. I use the word contact for everyone I know that is not an enemy(I think I have no enemies), and I use the word friend for contacts I like to meet often.

Then when they find out later, they will feel you have deceived them. This is only a way to postpone losing friends, not a way to avoid it.

What I mean is that you should avoid arguments. Such as going to a church with a friend and saying I AM ATHEIST, EVOLUTION ROCKS!

All are worth befriending. Contacts are very helpful. The most boring person you met may be the one that gives you access to the most interesting job. Just be careful and avoid doing anything you believe it is wrong, no matter who asks you. That way no one will be able to manipulate you. Be loyal to...

Asked my mom about autism. Turns out the point of the therapy is to avoid labels so I can focus on self improvement. The goal is basically: Don't worry, be happy.

So, no one was unfairly misdiagnosing me, but trying to help me to become who I want to be. Like the movie Anger Management.

I'm 24. I'm living with them because they don't trust me enough to let me go. I know I can refuse medication because I'm an adult but I don't want arguments, I'm trying to convince them the good way that I'm not crazy. My friends and boss know I'm not and will help me if something goes bad. I wanted...

There weren't hallucinations or delusions, just some synesthesia that I have always had. The "delusional state" was just me trying to explain neurology, psychology, relativity and metaphysical solipsism to a psychologist and my parents. The Dr. assumed I was paranoid. I used analogies with...

My current doctor doesn't care about the label fortunately, but I have suffered a lot because of former doctors. I had panic attacks everytime someone talked about psychosis or psychiatrists. A lot of nightmares.

If there is something about you that you know your friend won't like (such as belonging to a different religion), don't tell him, unless asked.

Learned by personal experience.

Unless rules have been established (such as order, position priority, or raising hands), the one who talks is the one who has the loudest voice during a pause. If you see someone trying to talk but not able to speak high enough to be listened you may help him by asking everybody to shut up and list...

Talk with someone, listen what he says, ask questions, people love talking about themselves and their interests, we all do. You will eventually figure out they share at least one interest with you. Then you can start talking about it and the person will love it. If you don't share interests, investi...

I figured out I can think in many ways and that picking the best way improves my learning and social skills. After reading a lot about psychology, philosophy, emotional intelligence, neurology and artificial intelligence (I've been reading since I'm 13 years old, the human mind is my obsession) here...
