Autism speaks are despicable!. I'd like to see a large group of us sue them under grounds of unfair representation of Autistics, discrimination and bullying. They are a pro eugenics group of crackpots who have the nerve to masqerade as a 'charity'.

I do this all the time. It is both a blessing and a curse :) . I especially tend to over-analyze people because I get very bewildered by their actions and I try to make sense of them in my own way. A lot of the time, my interactions with others are painfully awkward :( but in a way it is also useful... |

Q: How to deal with curebies kindly? A: euthenasia! (just kidding!, I couldn't resist!). These people are deserving of compassion especially those who's lives are personally affected by Autism in some way. |

Who cares about 'trends' - not aspies, that's for sure! :) - Bottom line is that it it is real and those who care to dismiss this.. well.. f**k 'em! With regard to 'pretend aspies' you have a valid point. Thing is that all people are deserving of some kind of companionship, love or validatio... |

Even if I were diagnosed with Asperger's, I would not tell anyone I had it. To be honest I am kind of embarrassed to even be posting here. I'm sorry for that but Asperger's is not considered to be a real disease by a lot of people. I believe it is, and I also believe that even if it were a complete... |

He says that I made it all up because I have a sick need for him to have something wrong with him. And attitudes like that make us feel even worse; even more misunderstood. :( Exactly. And because it took until he was 15 before he got an official diagnosis and I was 38 before I got mine, it points ... |

I think it's a bad idea but I wouldn't condemn anyone for it, at least not for the fact of doing it, (sometimes for the way they go about it, dishonesty and infidelity do bother me). I guess I just don't view it as any of my business how other people live their lives, so long as they don't expect m... |

I'm a little troubled by a trend I've noticed lately, of WP guys corresponding with girls and then posting the conversations, the girls' names or nicknames and even pics on WP forums. There are enough reasons I might not answer an e-mail on aspieaffection. Please don't add to it the fear that a guy... |

Yeah! - It's all about silly games & social status :eew: Why can't people just say how they truly feel? People are so afraid of being percieved as weak or pathetic for being heartfelt and sincere (esp. us guys) I think it's sad :( Exactly. I know a lot of people have seen me as weird and/or wea... |

I consider myself a very romantic person. And genuine. I just started seeing a woman who has the potential for a romance/long-term relationship. The thing is, she wants to jump in and get physical right away. Well, I don't FEEL anything yet. I want to FEEL romantic before I act on it. Yes, I can fe... |
