It's funny because when I sit and think about it, I know all of the unwritten rules. It's just that when I'm actually living, I can't follow them. There's a part of me that refuses to change my personality. When I do try, I end up feeling awful inside, like there's no point in being popular if it's...

Do you ever get stuck in this loop where someone's trying to ask you a question, but you keep misunderstanding and that someone has to keep explaining it to you, more and more slowly? It happens to me sometimes and it makes me feel really stupid... Well, not with questions, but I get stuck in loops...

1. When an NT is mad at you, don't act surprised. Do NOT say "what did I do wrong? What? You mean you are MAD at me?" Instead, when an angry NT approaches you, double check to read their emotion and say "Are you mad?" They will roll their eyes or something and expect us to magically read their mind ...

Ok, I seem to be getting a lot of hostile/ unhelpful responses to this thread. If you don't want to help, that's fine. But please don't deface the thread. Hey, I like it, especially as a play on NTs. You know, I mean, they make fun of us so why can't we make fun of them a little bit? Either way, I ...

I wanted to post this along with the food question in the main forum, but thought I’d better split it off to the adult forum. Here’s a link back to the food question: http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=673952#673952 Anyway, I keep reading how people with AS ...

Dude, chill out. Anyway, as for older guy friends, they are usually willing to help out and give advice. Like I said, it's highly unlikely. Plus there is no "older guy friends" (righhhht) anywhere within a 2000 mile radius of here that would want to listen to my junk. There's ONE guy, but I don't t...

Time to pray. If you are clinician, teacher, or doctor of any sort, you are soon to be in big trouble.

Aspies are sociopaths because they disregard social situations for sheer pleasure. I've seen the threads, how you berate everybody else. You know, the symptoms are consistent, such as praising yourself, disregarding social rules and customs, thinking your too good to be touched, etc. I hope Cure Au...

It means that she liked you. She was waiting for you to ask her out. Maybe she was waiting to exchange phone numbers. Giving phone numbers is the next step. She was too scared to ask for yours, maybe? Or she did not know what to say. When you told her you loved her, she probably got confused, since...

Currently Single: Here I am, 16 years old, very handsome looking. I love politics and anything scientific. I do tend to be a bit clinical in my questioning, but if you can get past that, you will find I can be very loyal, and forgiving. I'm an aries, and tend to follow the horoscope behaviors an Ar...

...to you, then you tell her you love her, and then she's really mean and ignores you. Real life experience. Liked a girl, told her I did, she hated me from there on in, and then moved away at the end of the year. Has any of you guys gone through this? EDIT: Did I post this in the wrong forum? If I...

ive taken 4 profesinal ones the scores were 88 92 100 90 88 is the most recent Yep you are just fine. Your mood could affect it too. Extensive use of the words "yeah" huh" "hmmmm" and "ok" have spared me much of the thought that would otherwise have to go into most conversations. Keep your opinions to yourself and it won't take energy to articulate them. Works for me anyways. Yeah, I am with that Pphhhs guy! Especially if my ear...
