I tend to stumble over my words sometimes, mispronouncing things and garbling my words. I think I talk a little too fast. |

Case in point, I just got a facebook account. I added someone as a friend, and she "facebook rejected" me... I spent an entire day freaking out about it, thinking "What did I do?" "Does she hate me?" Turns out, because I didn't have my last name listed, and I had an old-ish picture posted, she didn'... |

Elbows, hands and wrists. I can hyperextend my elbow quite a bit, touch my thumb to my wrist, and bend my fingers back quite far. |

Dear random people who want to get my attention,
Please do not tap me, poke me, or shake me in any way to get my attention. Doing so makes me extremely uncomfortable, and I have a hyperactive startle reflex. Please just say something if you need to talk to me. |

Highly social people make me feel weird. Kind of annoyed and confused all at once. And by "highly social", I do not mean people who have lots of friends or are otherwise outgoing. I mean people who are obsessed with conforming to social structures. People who play social games which I've never been ... |

I know what you mean... I ended up getting myself banned from yahoo answers for posting a question that was slightly inappropriate (sexual health related, a little too graphic). I think suspending me rather than giving a warning was overly harsh...still I acknowledge that I shouldn't have done it. |

I'm a bit of a grammar nazi. I used to correct people's grammatical errors all the time - until I figured out that it really annoys people, so I tried to cut back a bit. |

I love musical theatre, it's actually kind of a special interest of mine. I'm not all that great at acting, but I do love to sing. |

"Streets of Heaven" by Sherrie Austin.
It's about a mother whose 7-year-old daughter is terminally ill - it's so sad. |

The L Word. This surprises some people, as it's a show that revolves mainly around social situations. But - I guess I like watching it because it helps me understand that kind of stuff better, as an observer rather than a participant. Also, the humor is kind of off the wall - very aspie-friendly. I ... |

I was definetly considered a "problem child". Basically, my problem was, and still is, that I interrupt people. I blurt things out. |

I alluded to this in another thread. People often describe my mannerisms as "stiff", "awkward", or "twitchy". I know one or two people who actually call me "twitchy" as a nickname, as in "Hi Twitchy!"
Is this an aspergers thing? Does this happen to any of you? |

People sometimes accuse me of staring, not always at them, but often at some object off in the distance. They'll say something to the effect of "What are you looking at?" |

I'm 15, but I go back and forth between feeling slightly older than I actually am, and feeling a lot younger. I love kid stuff, like kids tV shows and cute things. |
