Ah, that makes a little more sense. Still weird that they'll not hire a married couple unless they worry that they'd lose one of you if theres arguments or something.

That's a scary list -- is it for avoiding people or just hating them?

I'm confused. Did you miss an interview date or a lunch date with someone from your husband's company? I don't get why they'd not hire you unless you missed an important meeting of some type.

Also, what's this list? Why are the women on it as opposed to the person responsible for hiring said women?

If she even mentions her boyfriend or her other friends then my stomach drops like a punch in the gut. I think I need more friends but I don't know where to start? I work full time as a clerical a...

The scenery's always beautiful (regardless of weather) - a lot like area of Canada, in fact...and the people pride themselves on being friendly and welcoming.

I have central heterochromia. The iris of each eye is blue, but there's a green ring around the pupil, which means my eyes switch from green to grey to blue depending on lighting.

Its hard to ask people to not be upset Dont ask them. You can't request that they turn their feelings off or change them. Accept that they're upset and ask them why . If it's something you've done/not done/said/not said then try to remember the action they'd prefer if the same situation arises in t...

I do, or rather, I did...until the hospital operated for tendon damage. Now I couldn't go up on my toes if my life depended on it. They took that ability away completely.

I'm Shaw. Was diagnosed with Aspergers about six years ago. Heard about this site years ago but never got around to doing anything about it 'til now - i'm usually too tired from work. Hoping to enjoy myself here, chatting and maybe making pals.

Cheers!
