Hello. I know most of us get uncomfortable recieving compliments but how about giving them? It always feels awkward and forced to for me unless it is someone really close to me and I genuinely mean it. I feel like I should compliment friends more to make them feel good- say if they get a new haircut...

I am girly on the outside but feel quite androgynous personality wise. I enjoy dressing up, my makeup is always done but always in edgy colourful way. I love dying my hair crazy colours and getting my nails done nice and bright. Growing up until about puberty I would pretty much always wear boys clo...

I have both. I hate conflicts but within a relationship where I feel comfortable (and where all my insecurities surface) it can be like a battlefield. I am so sensitive to any slights, even if they just word something wrong I will take it to heart and cause drama/turn on them. I hate it. I think hav...

Does anyone else fit into the demisexual category? I know some people don't see it as a serious orientation but finding out about it has answered some questions about myself. Growing up I would hear people calling strangers 'hot' and get so confused, how can you find them attractive if you don't kno...

I can relate to both group of symptoms quite well. The ASD symptoms I can look back and see them within myself since I was a child. As for the BPD symptoms, I would say they became apparent around age 14 or so. I do have trouble replying to someone while looking at their face, I'll often look at the...

Hi :) I have superficially self harmed before, only when disassociated as otherwise it kinda creeps me out and I am too sensitive. Self loathing comes and goes but was much more apparent when I was younger. Being treated unfairly makes me mad and frustrated (explosive depending who I am around) I'm ...

You sound exactly like my Sister who has BLPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) Do you self harm? Feelings of Self Loathing? How do you feel and react when treating unequally or unfairly IE. if one person were to get 10 dollars while you get 5 dollars? Growing up did you go through phases, like the...

Opps sorry, should have specified! I mean Borderline personality disorder, developed from years of abuse. Thanks for the replies :) I am not currently taking any medications (haven't had much luck with them) but I've always been one to self medicate with cannabis- which seems to have considerable be...

Hi guys, Not after a 'diagnosis', just if anyone can offer any experience and advise whether it is worth looking into further. I have been diagnosed with BPD, which suits me well. I have a history of abuse throughout my childhood (sexual and emotional, including my mother not beleiving me about the ...
