OK , breath. I'v done it iv opted for the mainstream with a unit. In the UK we can have a private funded place paid by your LA so the private v public argument is sort of lost here . Your son will need specialist help, very specific to autism. I would choose the one with the special unit, because that sort of specialist help is rare. Having said that, is that unit new? They may not be up to speed if it has only been in place for a couple of years. THE thing to do is to type int...
