I'm in a similar situation. 30, not sure if I have it or not, alternate between thinking I do and don't. Leaning more strongly than ever towards probably I do at the moment, but wary of self-diagnosis because I'm not an expert and because having a neurological condition, by providing an excuse for ... |

Welcome to WP. My CPN told me I should keep smoking roll-ups due to their bonus effects, it's a few minutes to collect my thoughts while I have a smoke, a break from the noisy crowds, or a break from 2 people I hardly notice the difference. Roll-ups are best because you get the time to roll them an... |

I'm finding this thread very interesting because I question my feelings of empathy and whether they disclude me from possibly having AS. What I'm very good at is seeing things from all people's perspectives. It totally frustates me when other people don't do this and complain about others without t... |

I don't have problems understanding the plot as such, but I do have problems following the characters. I always have to ask if the person in the current scene is the same person that was in a previous scene. As the movie goes on I get better at it because I can follow the story and link the person t... |

Well that's what I thought about it. I don't know why she keeps asking me stuff like this. Maybe it's because it would benefit her if I had a diagnosis. Then when I act odd she can give other people a reason. "I'm sorry about that, she doesn't know she's doing something wrong, it's becausshe ha... |

I used to have this problem at work with people thinking I was rude. At one point it was hindering my progression and I was told I couldn't progress unless my level of rudeness improved and I was kind of demoted for a while. I had no idea what I was doing that was rude so I just stopped talking to a... |

Hi Wrong Planet, In general, I don't think an ASD diagnosis would benefit me. If I was diagnosed when I was younger, maybe it would have (I'm 30), but not now. I don't have any current problems at all with mental health or anxiety or anything like that. I still do have some problems in social situat... |

Erm... I like science. I like politics but I try not to get too drawn into it because it just makes me depressed how terrible things are when you really start to understand the way the world operates. I've got we left wing political views, verging on anarchism. I also like travelling and visiting pe... |

Hi, I've just joined. I'm 30. Female. I may have Aspergers or I may not. Some people who know me well think I do have it, others don't seem to notice. I go through phases of convincing myself I do have it and it normally makes me anxious and makes my behaviour worse. I'm not in one of those phases a... |
