For me there is absolutely no problem with females. It's all down to the person in question in my opinion.

My grandmother is the sweetest most caring person ever yet my mother is the most blunt and stern person I've ever met. Then on top of that my partner is a good blend of the two.

Mushrooms definately for texture. Can't eat anything with mushroom on it freaks me out.

Also not a texture but I have an unknown fear of eating ham for some reason. I've tried it before and like the taste but for some reason the different shades of the meat really gets to me so I can't eat it.
