I think it is just a sign of the times. The global economy has been really struggling lately. Central banks have been doing what they can to prop it up, so things don't appear as desperate as they really are. But the general effects are being felt by the people which has resulted in a general sentim... |

Yes I have the same problem. Also I often have a restless sleep where I will toss and turn and keep waking up. It is knackering. Some things I have found that helps is exercise during the day. Meditate just before bed. Avoid electronic devices just before bed, they really get my brain whirring. Supp... |

Volunteering at an animal shelter, singing, listening to music, looking up different things on the internet, going on the treadmill and watching tv. That's nice, I briefly volunteered at an animal shelter too; it's since closed down. They kept geese and Jesus! I thought humans could be bullies. :D ... |

I used to have dreads that went down to below my butt. Just recently chopped them when my daughter caught head lice. They were quite a liability.
Now I have short and very tidy hair, with a straight parting and everything. I even put product in it on a near daily basis. Very suave! |

I most definitely plan to tell my next romantic partner about my condition as soon as I can. If she isn't going to be understanding about my various quirks she will quite quickly become a real pain in the butt to be with. So I think it would be best to spare both of us the agony as soon as possible.. |

I think he is largely just a muppet who says what he wants because he is out of touch. I am not expecting him to achieve much whilst in office. He'll mess things up a bit, but I think he will be prevented from doing any real damage. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt though. Maybe a n... |

Yeah I am with you. I don't think I really ever connect with anyone, even myself. I don't know enough about how I am feeling to be able to express it to anyone. I've just lost my marriage because I couldn't connect with my wife. I haven't gone to any "friends" to help me through it either.... |

I would find a different gym. Every gym I have been to people are respectful and will just leave me to do my thing. Make sure you have a set program. So before you get to the gym you know exactly what exercises you are going to do, what weights, how many reps and sets you are aiming for. Bring a not... |

Software development is quite a broad field with lots of different types of roles. Off the top of my head here are some of the things you can get into. Business analy... |

Software development really works for me. 9-5, holidays. I often go all day without having to talk to anyone. All my work is planned ahead for me.
You won't need to go to college for 10 years, but some education will be advantageous! |

SocOfAutism, Plootark Thanks very much for your replies, I honestly appreciate them, but I should say that when my mind is set on something I struggle to change my mind, which is probably consistent with Autism. I think that if your comments don't stop my anxiety then basically nothing will, becaus... |

plootark, Thank you for the reply, I appreciate your advice, but the gym is not for me right now because I am in the final year of university and I don't have time because of coursework. However, because exercise obviously provides a lot of health benefits I plan on doing this more after I graduate... |

I am hardly a communication expert myself, but I think a big part of it is not being outcome dependant. If you want to talk to someone, the worst thing you can do is have some kind of expectation about how they will respond. Some people may not respond well for all kinds of reasons. They may be busy... |

Hit the gym. Get onto a decent beginners strength program. Nothing will boost your confidence more than seeing yourself getting stronger every week. Weight lifting will not only make you look better, it will make you feel better. There is nothing you can do about your nose, but there is plenty you c... |

Forex might be a good idea for some, but for most the odds are hugely stacked against you. 95% chance you will just lose all your money and then some. If you really want to try, be very careful. Spend at least a year paper trading (trading with a dummy account and no real money.), make sure you have... |
