When I sleep, I cover my eyes with a black t-shirt (It came to me in a package deal, but I don't wear black) I like flannel if I'm not wearing night clothes, but at least one interface should slide fairly readily to avoid night tangles. Recently, I've added a 5-lb "heavy" blanket in a nar... |

Idk if I'd call it self-soothing, but for bed I use 100% cotton t-shirt sheets or 100% cotton flannel. The former most of the year, the latter in winter. The blankets I use are 100% woven thermal blankets. They're heavy, but don't make me too warm. If I want warmer, I throw a plain sheet (same as a... |

I currently wear ear muffs and now have gotten a sleeping mask and wear those to bed each night to help me sleep. I was wondering what other people do and what comfy, coping, soothing, etc products people use for themselves. |

What do you enjoy doing? Are there people doing any of that professionally? I generally tried to make my own work. I most enjoyed artistic metalwork, except for dealing with people who could afford to pay minimum wage for it. In the construction trades, I enjoyed doing the extra-odd jobs that other... |

I currently work fast food and it's honestly killing me to stay there. I've tried applying to other places, but they don't get back to me or just don't hire me. I miss retail at this point, but I can't seem to get into anything else. I was hoping people had some ideas for beginner jobs I could try t... |

I have ADHD (and autism if maybe autism is also part of the blame?) and I know it's an ADHD thing to forget to do things a lot and get overwhelmed in general when needing to get things done. I procrastinate a lot too. The issue is, I can't seem to get myself to remember to do anything. I already hav... |

Just don't eat the food (unless you prepare it yourself that is). I worked at Mcdonalds in the UK and I have seen what they do with the burgers and buns there! I work at Taco Bell and I've seen how they prepare the food, I've done some myself (mostly things that you just fry), and yet I still eat i... |

Retail is much better than fast food, especially if you are in stock or receiving. People will stay in retail, mostly as a side job, for years. Most burn out of fast food within a year. Retail is also more willing to make accommodations for those that have disabilities. Working for a grocery store ... |
