I belong to a special recreation association where I live in the Chicagoland area. SRA's provide lots of recreation programming such as Special Olympics, arts, skill development, social programs, vacation/overnight trips, community outings to basically anywhere such as ballgames, museums, carnivals ... |

I believe all colleges have to provide services for people with disabilities under the ADA. It just comes down to which colleges or schools are best for people with autism or PDD-NOS. |

I attended a transition program for people with disabilities called SASED in Westmont, Illinois where I learned life skills, money skills, cooking, employment and job skills, reading and other things. The job coaches there helped get me a job that fit with my skill set and interests which is working... |
