I actually drive very well, if I may humbly say so. I was terrible when I started though. Real, real, real bad. But like most things I try I pick them up quickly, have a great attention for detail and become very good at them. I suspect that typical of AS. |

I'm certainly no expert but your chance (if you ever had one) has probably passed. At least that is what my experience in a similar situation was. But who knows - everyones different. You may as well go for it now though or figure out some way to try and get past it. If you have these feelings for h... |

Fascinating interview as well |

I may be the one of the few aspies who is a big sports fan. Oftentimes the sports can end up being my obsessions. Still I have very different opinions then most people do when I discuss them. I don't really like to play sports however, just watch. |

I love nice cars and really appreciate them. If I had a real lot of money, I would own as many Porches and the like as I could fit in my garage. However I don't have a real lot of money so when it came time for me to actually buy a car myself, I bought a Hyundai Elantra. |

I was annoyed the other night I am filled with desire to have sex with women yet have no natural ability to convince one to do that with me. So I can see where your coming from but I don't yearn to be asexual, that would be sort of boring and unhuman. I'd rather just figure out how to convince a wom... |

I work at a law firm, not as a lawyer but I deal with it every day. I work with a very specialized area and am an expert. Cold as it is to say, my lack of empathy helps me as well. I have been very successful and my job can be a bit tedious at times which many people hate but I love the repetitious ... |

I read your post and I actually found it very entertaining. I believe very strongly I have AS and while I don't have a formal diagnosis, you sound like you have it and sound an awful lot like me. Believe me I can understand the problems you have faced; but I don't think having AS means you need to s... |

I love strong black coffee, I have a grinder and everything. For a while one of my obsessions was coffee and I used to order beans from all over and wnatnot. Now that has faded and I just use Costco brand. I think it also has a different effect on me than most. I remember when I first started drinki... |

I was at a football game recently with a large group of guys and a girl comes right up to me and starts talking. Her friend comes over as well but the small talk was boring me to sleep so eventually the conversation died out and they left. I didn't think much of it until one of the guys I was with w... |

I didn't ever thinking I'd be watching Americas Next Top Model, let alone rooting hard for someone on the show. Quite an inspiration. |

I don't care for science fiction at all. In fact fiction in general (particularly books but I' not a big movie fan either) doesn't do a whole lot for me. I much prefer non fiction. |

It's not the autism that is the problem. It is autism integrating with our society that is the problem.
Anyway I don't want the American dream. America is full of NT's and I really don't care about their stereotypical dream. I'm perfectly happy where I'm at. |

My friend has told me I'm like a 10 year old in a 25 year olds body.
It seems like as I was growing up I would be 2-4 years behind everyone else with certain "rites of passage" |

I'm 25 and not diagnosed, nor do I plan to be any time in the near future. I don't really see the point now. I honestly don't need someone to sign a certificate or something to say that these criteria fit me or that my brain operates like theirs does. When I first read about it I felt like Dorothy i... |
