I've heard of this perceived connection between autism and chicken nuggets before.
I, personally, try to avoid junk food but, I can't deny it, I do like a nugget. That's why I got into Quorn nuggets, which I absolutely love.
I never really thought of it as being connected with my ASD, though.

I wondered, for a long while, if I had tourettes until I found out that I am no means alone with my vocal sounds, mimicry and "vocal stimming". I've met many Aspies who do much the same kind of thing that could easily be mistaken for tourettes. With me, mainly, I wuff! :P Onomatopoeia of d...

I currently have a Casio CZ-1000 Nice. I've used The CZ-1000, Poly 800, DX-7, Cheetah and Atari st from that list. People complain about programming the DX7 but it's fine. I had one and it really complimented the CZ-1000. Do you have a CZ patch book? I actually started with the DX-7 (had one before...

I don't know if this is a world wide thing and I don't even know if it will work but, where I live, there's an active attempt going on to make the word Asperger's unfashionable and phase out it's use. While I understand that, as it turns out, Hans Asperger wasn't exactly a nice person(!) and people,...

I disagree that it's rarely used for non-autistic people. I, myself, only very occasionally hear it used to describe autistics. I hear it used most often by neurotypicals about males and females. Especially in the mainstream media. I frequently hear "mens' brains are wired differently" or ...

Hi wee_gary, do you have any favourite synths, sequencers or other kit from that era? I've had a good go on a lot of that kit! :) Many. I currently have a Casio CZ-1000, Yamaha TQ-5, Linndrum, Simmons SDS9 drum kit and various effects units. I also use the Cheetah SpecDrum and Ram Music Machine sam...

Wow! Was it really that long ago that I first joined?
I had intended to be a lot more active on this forum but a lot has been happening in my life over the past few years and I haven't really found the time.
However, I've rediscovered the site and I'm back now so, hi again! :P

Hi all. I am a diagnosed Aspie. The diagnosis was fairly recent but my Aspergers has, apparently, been blatantly obvious to my friends for years and years. I only started to suspect it myself around 6 or so years ago. I certainly knew that I was different from most people in some way from the start....
