If she has some kind of power, the classic gambit is to have her save him from something - speeding car, falling air conditioner - and then she runs away. Then that night or a week later or whatever, she is out at a club with a friend and doesn't realize its his but he recognizes her. If you wanted ...

https://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/55085912.jpg I've gone from 175 to 155 in the last six months. While recovering from a massive flare-up of an imperfect body (scoliosis/muscle spasm/sacroiliitis). During which time I finished studying .NET and started on Unity and Holographic for Hololens. What f...

Is it avoidant behavior because he's afraid of the room being dark, or of falling asleep? Both were true for me... and bathroom was one of the few "valid" reasons to get out of bed. I went so far as to chug water to ensure I'd have excuses, and then drew out the bathroom as long as possibl...

If you want to cry, you should. Otherwise it builds up... Besides that, pick out specific intrusive thoughts circling in your brain, like, "I'm doing nothing with my life!" you [mentally or out loud] tell that thought, "No!" and present it with a counter-argument. 1) You don't de...

Fuzzy purse.

It's like a stuffed animal you can cuddle in public as an adult without getting weird looks.

I remember my mother making comments about how I'd spent all my allotted playtime "setting up" but hadn't "actually played". I wasn't lining toys up though - I had this gorgeous, gender-normative Barbie mansion my [almost certainly undiagnosed autistic] grandfather had built from...

Would your mom ask him for more specifics about what he meant by "tone"?

You could too, of course. But some adults tend to give more specifics to other adults... almost like they think asking questions to get clarification on what they mean is being insolent or disrespectful.

Breakfast this morning was Wei Chuan red bean pies. They're a flaky pastry that slightly puffs, with a bean paste filling. They're sweet and kinda nutty, and much healthier than, say, a Danish: http://shopping.shanghaisells.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/78x78/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27...

I can't believe I forgot this one - this is actually kind of my gold secret but it's... definitely not scientifically proven. Blue Emu. It's an odor-free cream that contains emu oil. You apply it to your skin, rub it in gently for a minute or so, and... it works so well I get kinda embarrassed telli...

Deaths, funerals, and dividing stuff are stressful things that make people act completely irrationally. The last funeral I was at (for a family member) was crashed by family members who knew they were not welcome. Following that was a lot of drama (phone calls, e-mails, whispering) about the distrib...

H-Mart is the bestest most wonderful place to find weird things to do on taste adventures! My local store has amazing, dirt cheap produce and fancy ramen - so I'm there regularly. It's become a game to find at least one weird thing I've never eaten before every trip. Some of them are a smashing succ...
