I dropped out three times and haven't been back for a few years. I completed most of a math major so currently I tutor math at a local community college.

I don't know what advice I could give as I never finished school but I do have an idea of how stressful things must be for you.

I doubt there's anything awful about you, my perspective is that society is awful.

May I ask when was the last time you asked a guy out? It's just as hard for us to show our feelings as it is for you.

This is my current obsessive song. I've listened to it on repeat for hundreds, if not a thousand repetitions by now.

I fail to see how girls have an easier time than guys. Intelligence and attractiveness helps the aspie social issues but that goes for both guys and gals.

I've lived in Washington my whole life between two cities. I love this state and all the rivers and natural scenery. The winters are a bit cold for me but that's my only big complaint.

Volunteering can be a great way to meet people, especially if it's doing something enjoyable. The people there obviously are going to have at least one shared interest.

Hello, we all face different challenges unique to how ASD affects us. There is no one therapy for everyone, instead, it's tailored to the need of the individual. I want to point out that autism has strong genetic components, so it's possible you already have autistic family members and not even know...

As others here have said, skipping breakfast makes it harder to lose weight. My understanding is that skipping breakfast makes your body think food is going to be scarce and so it will try to retain as much energy (fat) as it can. Eating a small dinner is much more beneficial because you can't burn ...

I still say be her friend. Give her time to decide if she likes you or not. Don't worry about dating her, instead, just try to get to know her and what she likes. Try to find similar interests and use your best manners around her.

I've got many, many questions but don't want to flood the board , so I'll group some together. 1. Did you know you had ASD before your Dx? 2. What made you get a Dx or was it advised by someone else? 3. Was there anything in your childhood that you personaly remember indicating ASD? 4. If you strug...

Hi CadoWest, nice to meet you and welcome to wrong planet! After my diagnosis, it became apparent to my dad and I that I likely inherited it from him. Before we knew anything about autism, my dad told me on numerous occasions that out of all his kids, I was the most like him. There is no reason for ...

Hello Psi, it's nice to meet you and welcome to wrong planet. I was diagnosed in January of this year and it feels great knowing there's an explanation to why I have trouble relating to people. I love math and science so I'm very impressed that you're pursuing a PhD, what is it in? I did exceptional...
