Seems like things are taking a turn for the worse now.
Reactor 3 is smoking and is suspect of containment vessel failure. Radiation has got to the point of being too dangerous for the remaining personnel to stay and they have evacuated.
Reactor 3 is the one with the MOX fuel BTW. |

Couldn't they have just done that BEFORE they got on the plane?
Lord knows people are tense enough about odd things on planes these days. |

Word is coming out now that the recent explosion with reactor 2 may have damaged it's containment vessel and radiation has spiked in the area. Reactor 4 has a fire going on as well now.
Things certainly aren't getting better... |

I seriously doubt something like that would happen. This is not a Chernobyl situation(bad reactor design and systematic negligence caused that). At this point it all really comes down to how the containment vessels hold up and if the fuel can be stabilized and cooled. After that, I guess Japan just ... |

Not the first time this has happened with the FDA... Anyway, it sounds like KV's reasoning for the insane price is that it costs just a bit less than paying for a pre-term birth. "Are we not merciful?" The problem though is that the cost is going to be dumped on insurance. Either they won't c... |

Well there goes Blofeld's rocket base... again.
I've read that's it's been erupting intermittently for the past several months. Considering it's on a different tectonic plate from the ones involved in the quake, it's a safe assumption that the eruption has little to do with the quake. |

I understand that you are emotional and want to believe one side of the story is absolutely true. Do you believe the version of events supplied by every lawyer in the country? No, I didnt think so. Just when it suits your politics. Umm, don't go making blanant asumptions about me. You don't know me... |

Well at least's it's not typhoon season... There's lot's of satellite imagery coming out now. All up and down the coast of Miyagi prefecture looks like the New Orleans area after Hurricane Katrina and lots of debris all through out the ocean nearby. I've read that's Japan moved about 8 feet from thi... |

Details -> http://www.armycourtmartialdefense.info/ You really can't get more detailed than what his defense reports. Yeah, we should just take the word of someone's hired advocate and call it a day. Only one side to any issue after all. All we know about the event is what his attorney has admitted... |

Eh, I wouldn't call this as something the left would generally believe. It's just a hashed up theory from a handful of professors that hardly has any weight to it. The forces at work under the surface of the Earth far out-weigh the forces above the surface. Any effect from the surface on plate movem... |

It's quite a disaster to behold. Caught this on the web late last night and have been keeping tabs on the news all day. The photos and videos are incredible. I expect the death toll to in the thousands from this, possibly more with many more never found. People in the coastal areas only had 10 minut... |

Well it possibly could be a conflict of interest on the interrogator's part.
Could they just get a different interrogator? |
