What was the point of getting two GTX 260s if you're running OpenSuSE. I plan to not have to upgrade this for quite some time, and possibly to use the GPUs for number crunching rather than graphics. Ok, at least get some sort of Windows OS so your not wasting that wonderful video card on os that is... |

What do you mean by "survive suspend/resume cycles" Using the Suspend to RAM (Sleep) or Suspend to Disk (Hibernate) functions on a laptop. I'm asking for help with the native Linux driver, not ndiswrapper. Well, all I can suggest is asking on the Ubuntu forums, there is probably some package you ca... |

A quick pointer: Windows Vista drivers do not work with ndiswrapper. You'll need to find a Windows XP driver if you want to go down that path.
One pain with ndiswrapper is that it doesn't seem to survive suspend/resume cycles. Rather annoying too (I'm stuck using it with an Atheros AR5007EG card). |

Yep - I can understand that that sort of arrangement could work quite well, but I was thinking more of dealing with complaints - eg "my dishwasher's broken", "Where's my stuff" "can't you guys get anything right" etc... Oh, like "Where's my train?", "What do you mean I can't use the toilet?", "Get ... |

Hi, I was just thinking what the worst jobs for aspies would be... <snip> 5 - customer services That one is an interesting inclusion. I do customer service myself for CityRail - and railways have long been an interest of mine. If you can combine it with an interest (and detach the notion that it is... |

You have 256/64 ADSL. You could easily upgrade to 1.5/256 if you wished, although it would cost more. |

In this case the OP would be referring to 100 megabit - which is more than likely the speed of the Ethernet interface between their computer and the device connecting to the internet, rather than the speed of the internet connection itself. I don't know of any 100 megabit domestic internet connectio... |
