I started an autistic adult meetup group, and I created a Facebook group for it. I printed some fliers and put them up at work (there are for sure some autistic people here). I did a segment on the local news. I advertise it on LinkedIn. I don't know what else to do. I don't know where/how to advert... |

Is there just this one episode or is this a whole series? |

I tried CBD oil and it did nothing for me. It didn't change my anxiety or my migraines or my sleep patterns. I feel exactly the same. |

I went to a conference on asthma, and had to leave because the fragrance level was gagging. People are clueless. This is absolutely horrible. Their right to smell like chemicals is not as important as your right to actually breathe and stay alive. This reminds me of the Batman movie where Joker put... |

Tawaki, the advertisements claimed it was "for parents, caregivers, teachers, those with ASD, faculty and professionals." Since we were included in the "for" list, I thought it would be suitable for us. The surprises involved were unbelievable. Until I experienced the entire even... |

I saw that Alex Plank was speaking at an autism conference in my city, so I signed up to go. I knew it would be long and difficult, but I thought it would be tolerable, because actually autistic people would be there. However, it was barely tolerable. I had to leave at the lunch break due to migrain... |

"And if you’re looking for an autistic actor to play him, contact my agent." Or her. It could be a female. |

A big change in my life puts me into shock, which may resemble exhaustion, since I can't decide what is worth doing. Every goal is really just a milepost - if you don't find a new goal, there's not much point in being alive. I've pondered this myself. I agree about goals, and I do feel that I haven... |

My degree is in Mechanical Engineering. I'm lucky that I was already employed. I've worked while pursuing my degree, although I tend to get fired for vague reasons frequently. The stress of financial uncertainty was an emotional burden, and I was already dealing with the stress of playing the myster... |

I finally graduated, at the age of 42, with my Masters Degree, and I'm still exhausted months later. I have been in college since I graduated high school, except for the year break that my doctor made me take because of extreme burnout and psychotic break. I've never felt a sense of relief like this... |

I was diagnosed at 42, but the signs were always there and were so obvious to anyone who knew what Asperger's/autism was. I feel like I was cheated out of a productive life. Now I get to start over, though, and hold myself to the proper standard. I'm not an unsuccessful normal person. I'm a super su... |

You want to know what's "wrong with" you, but if you have Asperger's then nothing is wrong with you. Something is just different about you. Being a minority is not the same as being wrong. We are only told something is wrong with us because the people without Asperger's are the majority. Y... |
