My son has the same problem......1 place is good enough for him.
It takes away from his "time" to go to many places. This causes a problem on weekends since I work full time and I need to get
errands done. My husband (his dad) will try to stay home with him but this doesn't always work out. |

Thanks for all the info......I will bring a Dr's note to prove my son does have AS in case they try to give me problems....I am paying the final payment to Disney this week and I will ask them also if I
can do this ahead of time. |

I know there is a special pass that can be used to bypass the lines for kids with Autism (my son has AS) at Disneyworld......
How do I get this pass? Does anyone know? |

Have you tried Focalin? This is what works for my 10yr old son. Concerta & Adderall did not help him. |

my son is almost 10 years old and Concerta didn't work for him. Behavior wise, it did help - but it made him "sad". We switched
to Focalin XR (15mg) and this is what works for him. Do you find the tantrums are happening more since taking Concerta - it could be a side effect. |

My 9 year old son is the same way! He ALWAYS zips his zipper up to the top! I tell him he doesn't have to do that..but he always leaves it that way.... |

the majority of people don't realize that there are many different types of autism. People think "Rain Man"....my son mainly has the social issues and public awkwardness.....adults & children don't think he's autistic (he's an aspie) they just think he's weird. They don't understand the differen... |

My son gets along very well with adults. They think he is so "smart" because of how he speaks (adult words, knows a lot of facts..etc) He doesn't get along with kids his age because they think he's "odd". He does have 2 friends and one of them comes over to play with him on weekends. (he's 1-1/2yrs ... |
