Exercise works to help your head, but it takes time and devotion. For me, biking in the country is an almost religious experience, so it's easy for me. I haven't found anti-anxiety meds to be very helpful, except very short term. I get a little help from an SSRI, but some of them made me worse. Exercise really is the best thing in the long run.
